    seeing as a 911 is 45 inches from drip rail to drip rail, the 48 inches posted on listing would not work on a 911. Unless i am missing something?

    They are adjustable in width, I got one a couple years ago and it looks the same as the one on eBay. Spirited price but not far off from what I spent. Super rare.

    I seem to remember, from my days as a P/A parts guy in 1973-1976, that the accessory racks were 1-piece (nonadjustable in width), and were in a "ZVW" box. (VW accessories).
    This was, of course, after the P/A/VW mashup in the early 70's.

    No, this version is definitely adjustable, the Allen bolt is the clamp that holds the adjustment.

    That is a rare find. It is a Karo rack, that is the original supplier for Porsche back in the day. Cool buy!
