    ??early engine lid value??

    Dear all,

    what is the market value of an early engine lid with the rubber keder?

    the grill is not the issue... also not the script...
    just blank engine lid...

    if you find a buyer that needs one it is worth a lot of money. If you have no buyer, not so much. You probably have the only one on the market so start high

    Seal on the lid early car hood.

    Haul, look to the center bar (you may have to remove the grille), on the left side will be the last digits of the serial number. It may have two digits or three digits. It possibly may have a 100, 200 or 300 number. From there we may be able to find the body to which it was originally attached. That would have the most value.

    I forgot, how did you get the metall as clean as this?

    Haul,
    We sandblasted the car with nutshells.
    After the sheet metal work we will sandblast again with very fine sand silica.
