Tangerine is a good color, but fresh 936 silver metallic done right (and we can be certain that Scott and crew WILL do it right) is a sight to behold.
I wonder if I can social distance properly on an afternoon road trip to see your car in progress, Nick. Hmmm...

I say mask up and take a drive! I'm looking forward to seeing the results; Scott is a perfectionist, I'm glad he's on the job!

Scott and crew helped me out this winter, your in good hands. G
That's a great photo Gordon; Signal Yellow is as good as it gets and I agree my car is in good hands with Scott and team. He did a fantastic job on my tangerine ST so having him take on this project was a no brainer for me. As we have all experienced with our own individual car projects it's always the "while I'm in there" that blows the budget and expands the scope. It's part of the deal and to be expected. Here's the text I got from Scott: "Dude, your trunk is a shit show, let's get it right." For some unknown reason when the car was painted at Sonauto in 1987 they painted over the tar on one shock mount and removed the tar prior to paint on the other. Go figure that one out. It's all been corrected now and Scott also rerouted the vent hoses using the proper materials. Take a look, before and after:

Nick, noticed early shock top washers in photos. They come with Koni replacement shocks inserts and people mistakenly install them on 69—> 911’s. They were for earlier SWB cars. My Italian #538 also has the plastic tank. G
Just an FYI.
