    Cibie Bi-Iode Headlight Set (190mm)

    **SOLD **

As you may recall, I have devised a way to install the over-sized (as compared to the 1700mm Cibies) 190mm Cibies in Porsche buckets. I just finished restoring five sets of the 190's and have discovered that I have enough parts to build another set. I bought more than I needed for the project of five because I don't always have success removing the lenses without breaking them. Fortunately I've gotten somewhat better at it over time and have developed a technique that is pretty reliable. This is what they look like when they are complete:

You can choose to have amber shrouds over only the high beams as pictured here, over both high and low beams, or none at all. I equip these with high performance GE Megalight Ultra H1 90+ 55w bulbs. They produce 90% more light than regular halogen H1's but since they run at 55w they don't require a relay kit. (They're available separately at the AC Store.

These are plug 'n play installation and look great. You have to look closely to distinguish them from the 170mm Cibies. Adjustment screws are at 2:00 and 8:00 as always and use the correct oval head adjustment screws.

The reflectors need to be replated using the vapor deposited process so they will be ready in 5-6 weeks. The cost is $1,650.00 plus shipping. I have them listed at the AC Store for immediate purchase.

And I may have enough parts for one more set. We'll see what happens with the last batch of lenses.

    John

P.S. And thanks to everyone for your patronage at the fledgling AC Store. Your support means a lot, especially right now.
