3" spacing lightweight aluminum Brembo calipers - restored set

For sale - pair of Brembo alloy calipers with 3" mount spacing.

These calipers have received a full restoration. This type of caliper is a popular bolt on upgrade: they utilize a larger pad and are about 4 lbs lighter than original cast iron versions.

This set was nice to begin with. As with all my full restoration calipers, these were completely disassembled, cleaned, tanked, checked for cracks, threads OK'd, surface blasted, anodized, etc. Original Brembo pistons restored (cleaned and polished). Premium rubber seal kit (ATE or Brembo seals) and new split-body o-rings. Assembled with proper assembly lube (ATE / Porsche paste). Replated Brembo high offset bleeders.

Ready for show, race, street. The brake pistons clocked for Porsche use for a true bolt on. If desired I can supply with pads, hardware and adapter lines for nominal additional cost, or use your own. $675 for this pair.

These will bolt up to any SWB S/L or can be used with new vented rotors to convert your non-vented fronts.

Still available, offers welcome. Thanks all.

I noticed someone else on this forum sold a very nicely done set of these for $600 shipped. I'll match that deal. Price drop to $600 shipped!

Clint Smith of Rebel Racing has or had a set on the rear of his longhood with Boxster fronts. I turned him and his dad on to these some 10 years ago. His dad has a set on the front of his 59 356 POLO car with the spacers removed and solid rotors.
I bought a set of titanium bolts for mine from Rob. He's just a couple miles down the road from me.

It's an interesting option for the rear, it remains to find the right balance for the front
