Extra wire by front right fog? 1971 What's it for?

While attaching hella 169 fogs to the factory wiring.
(Which is a white wire with some color)

On the right side of car, passenger USA, from the same harness, next to the white wire is an unused black and yellow wire. With female connector.
Also with a buddy brown wire.

The wiring diagram has it going to the horn relay.

I know about the two horns on the driver side. Those are there, nice proper banjos.

The big question is, why is there a third horn wire?
    Aren't two enough?

Why would the factory have even more?
Can you hook something else up to it? That isn't a horn. But it goes off when you push the butterfly on the steering wheel?

Maybe it is just that they used to have one right and one left horn.
And that for just a few years the factory spliced in two horns on one side.
And they just left the wire on the right... And taped it up.

    Current long term ownership: 63 Cab, 71 911, 74 914

It seems they thought some owners might want more.

1970 cars have a horn on the right , in 1971 the banjo horns were an option on T's and E's ,so the wire is still in the harness on the right for cars with bonjos on the left .
