Yesterday...
Another backroad trip up the coast to Montecito for takeout lunch, then brought back to the (abandoned) Polo Fields to munch...
GREAT friends, roads, weather, and light holiday traffic....
About 200 country, canyon, and freeway miles... A great day !!! …

Chuck,
You three passed me on LA Avenue while I was heading home from running errands.
My first thought, "I know those guys", my second thought "Darn".

Another impromptu backroads drive to Montecito....
About 100 miles each way... 70 degree sunny SoCal day...
The other two in the crew were parked down the street... So it was me in front of Tommy King's '72 2.5 MFI hot rod...
That signal yellow car is a real show stopper anywhere it goes.....
GREAT drive !!!

Today I should have been on a Winterrallye but it was cancelled so I went for a shooting with the guys from https://www.we-shoot-it.com/
480 km (ok a little less with all the wheelspin) Freezing cold
All my BMW experiences in winter were not great. Rear wheel drive and light weight = low traction. I assume you were on "winter tires". Fun until you come to a hill.
Well at that temp I can understand why the bezel said,,,, "I'm out".
