Here's one I took about 30 years ago about seventeen miles north of Davenport at the Pelican Point Lighthouse...

    Chuck,
You three passed me on LA Avenue while I was heading home from running errands.
My first thought, "I know those guys", my second thought "Darn".

Another impromptu backroads drive to Montecito....
About 100 miles each way... 70 degree sunny SoCal day...

The other two in the crew were parked down the street... So it was me in front of Tommy King's '72 2.5 MFI hot rod...
That signal yellow car is a real show stopper anywhere it goes.....

    GREAT drive !!!

All my BMW experiences in winter were not great. Rear wheel drive and light weight = low traction. I assume you were on "winter tires". Fun until you come to a hill.

With this 100 liter helper formerly in the Warmbold 72 Works rallye car right above the axle and a LSD with some preload it's still not very good but you can live with it.
With a full tank I'm pretty close to 50% 50% weight distribution
