    SWB vin plate repos - who makes the best one ?

    I have a 1966 911 and unfortunately, the original vin plate was lost during restoration. Fortunately, I have a photo of it. I ordered one from Stoddard but its not quite the same. Who makes the best vim plate and can they punch the correct info from my photo ?

    Did you try aase? They had some. Costly, I think.
    I might have some stamps you could borrow.
    But you have to practice about 5 or ten times, on another sheet.
    Making little tape templates. To help with spacing and alignment.
    Can you show a photo? And I can show you a photo of what my stamp numbers look like.
