    Cool aftermarket trumpets, Dave. Any idea what the frequencies are? 400 and 500 hZ maybe?

    HI Russ,
    Im no expert on these - I believed them to be later 911 horns (after the red horns). What identifies them as aftermarket?
    The hZ is not marked on them, only High and Low.

    I'm no expert either, but thought factory horns went from flat (early) to snail (mid) to red trumpets (late)... so are these OG and for what years? Hope someone who knows will chime in.

    I asked about the tones 'cause if they're the higher Euro sounding ones I'm interested.

    Hey Dave, figured out these are later factory horns for 928, 911SC, etc. As to the switch from red banjos to red trumpets, searching the site provided this:

    These are original+correct (E2 Made in France) later (appr. 75+) trumpets.

    The actually sold aftermarket ones are stamped E11 (made in England) while a sticker on them says: Made in Germany.
