    wheel spacer recommendation

car is a '66 and my setup requires 15mm spacers @ the rear. I bought a set of H&R. beautiful product but they require replacement of the standard studs. the only other type I've seen so far is Sparco. are there others ? feedback appreciated.

@LiveFromNY thanks guy, but those require the replacement of the existing studs, an option that may not be possible or practical.

Any deviation from steel wheels and no spacer is going to require longer studs. You have 35mm studs (dates back to 356 days) and they just aren't long enough. Replacing studs is not a difficult job as long as you have a BFH and some spare time.

thanks Jim... D.B. and I gave this a shot yesterday, but came up short. I'm gonna tray again after removing the E-brake adjuster and "addressing" a stock stud. not sure I'll be able sneak a new 70mm stud back in.

even with 10mm spacers you do need to replace the studs... and yes, as written before, easy to be done...
    but allow:
if you go with 15mm in the back...
    a. what you do with the front?
    b. what are you aiming at?

Pretty sure we did by removing the handbrake cable and butterfly actuators, then line up stud with cable hole.

adding 1" to the inside lip of a 6" Fuchs for a SWB application. my understanding is a 15mm spacer is required. is there a need to consider the front wheels as well ?

something like this would have been plan B if the stud swap had not worked out.
