    FS: Scheel seats

I have a set of Scheels that I am not going to use. I think they have been recovered, but they are in very good condition, Definitely usable as is. I can take more pictures if there is interest. Paid $900 to them will take that plus shipping. Email lindseych@msn.com

Hi Clindsey, They have definitely been recovered. The original fabric is a cord fabric material on the inner seat and headrest, and the outer seat is black vinyl. It looks like your seats got into a fight with a black velvet painting hanging at a 70's gas station - and lost the fight... ;-)
Just noticed also that your headrest is not a factory Scheel either.

Nice! Recovered or not, if I hadn't just recently acquired the pair of Recaro N for my '72T, I think I'd be all over these. Nice vintage seats!

Yes, I see the differance in Head Rest. I did not notice before, but looking on line I see that some of the scheel seats did have a narrower headrest, but it had higher edges. These may have been altered when the seats were recovered??? Still a great period seat, Comfortable, and not to expensive. I ended up with a set of '68 Racaro one year only seats at a fair price, but still $$$$.

No, from what I can see they might not have been recovered. They are a later generation where this kind of material was available
