    SWB brake pedal question

I've been bothered by the fact that my brake pedal is about 2 inches higher than my gas pedal. I really don't like it. It makes me lift my foot instead of just moving it laterally. Is there a reason for this setup? I'm a double clutcher not a heal toe'er. My clutch pedal at the moment is about 1/2 inch lower. As the clutch pedal is adjustable and I have an extra brake pedal, I'm thinking of having the pedal lowered by 1 or 1 1/2 inches then adjust the clutch pedal down to match.
    Looking for input.
    Thanks, Chris

Brake pedal should be adjustable via the threaded pushrod, my '65 definitely is.
