    WTB: Chrome Power Window Switches

Looking for functioning switches with chrome bezels. From what I can tell the current production chrome versions are not correct and the black versions are black. I have 3 nice chrome ones, but only one of them works. I was hoping to do a bezel swap, but apparently it’s not worth the risk.

I removed the bezels on mine. It is pretty easy to do. Just he careful and take your time.

Ok. The switches don’t work anyhow so it’s worth a try.

That appears to be the later type with 4 terminals and the larger bezel. I do not believe those ever came in our cars. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

4 pole ones are the earlier type. These are available as are the 5 pole with black bezel and textured surface. In between these two types they made a 5 pole with a chrome bezel but these are not available anymore. They are just like the later type with black bezel but also the toggle switch is smooth and not textured.

Gotcha. I need the middle type that is apparently unavailable. Seems to be a ‘72-‘73 only part from what I can tell.

That is correct. This was a spare for my ‘72 with power windows.

Wow. So it’s sounding like the part I need is 1973 only. No wonder these switches are hard to find. Thanks for helping me narrow this down.
