    NOS Vasek Polak Porsche/Audi Frame

NOS Vasek Polak Porsche/Audi Frame. Never been on a car! It's been in my garage from new. Has some patina on the frame from age with the paint perfect. Please check images. $500 includes shipping in the US.

    Thanks,
    John

Based on the condition of those mounting holes it was mounted to something. To call it NOS is a bit of a stretch.

    Gee Mike, .
Not a silk purse but far from a sow's ear and a nice frame regardless. GLWS and bring back the days of the the 80's cell ph camera lens.

So, if mounted on a garage wall since new??? I'd call it NOS.

I am not criticizing the price or the item, just that to call it NOS is really not correct in my mind.

    Mike, Im with you.
    New Old Stock. NOS.
Its the N or NEW that is in question here.
Mounted on anything previously eliminates the N in NOS.

    Still a nice frame though.

The VP frame market has softened with all the new repros out there (including those being sold by VP Jr.). Still, nothing beats original and that's a cool example. Fun fact: unlike other dealers who purchased most or all of their frames from Robert W. Brown, the vast majority of authentic VP frames are not RWB frames and VP frames with the RWB markings are quite rare.

Every original I've seen has Robert W. Brown on the back... can you post an example?

Don't accept anything less than $400, John. I'll pay $400 just out of principle. It's a rare frame.
