Anyone running these on RS flared car?

https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/pir...turato-p7.html In 205 front and 225 rear? If you are how do you like them? They're expensive but have the look. On 7 and 8x15's?

I'd put the 16" sizes of those on my '84 if I still had that car, Scott. Like you say, they have the look. No idea if they are as good as they look, though.

I had the original P7's on my 81 Turbo and they were TERRIBLE in the wet. Aquaplaning at relatively low speeds, (55-65MPH). When I switched to Bridgestone RE71's , (I think they were the ones, what was used on 959), the difference was incredible.

    Pirelli Cinturato

Hi Scott...not trying to convince/"talk you out of" the Pirelli Cinturato P7's but here is my RS-flared -72 with the Pirelli Cinturato CN 36 … P185/70 front and P215/60 rear on 7/8x15's...I like them a lot and Chuck who is a much better and more aggressive driver than I am, gave them a thum's up...

btw...this is the car where I have your "super duper" front swaybar...works great!.../ Lars...

I do like the CN36's I was just hoping to get more than a 215 back there. I wonder If the new P7's are better than back in the day? I'm mainly interested in dry weather driving not the wet.

The original P7 was the bomb back in the '70s. So if Pirelli has improved them a bit like they appear to have improved the CN36, they should be decent at least. I can't see too many people driving cars set up for them in the rain anyway.

I also like the fact the P7 comes in a 205 for the front. I guess I'll have to buy them and post how they are. We should do a track day where we try all these tires on early 911's like a road a track review back from the day.
