Recaro 1328 - low seating position. How?

    Hi

Any clever ways of lowering the seating position, without cutting in to the body or welding new mounts to the body, when using Recaro 1328 seats?

    Cheers!

hello johan, I have a console here that somebody welded especially for the recaro rally seats . I can offer you for little money - it doesn't get much flatter. however, adjustment work must be done on the console as universal (not 911 specific). But if you really want to save a lot of cm, then I would consider padding the seats down or choosing the best seat for that.

    regards

Contact Keith at Zuffenhaus in North Carolina. At one point they offered a seat base that lowered the Recaro fiberglass buckets. I don’t know if they still offer it and it may not be on their web site. I tried to buy only one for the driver side but they would only sell in pairs so I passed.

Well, in that case, you can try these: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...-seat-brackets

But flip them over so the mounting tab is down rather than up. That’ll be good for about an inch.
