    ‘68 Sport Seat

Beautiful 1968 drivers side setup Recaro Sport Seat in black leather. Was recovered a number of years ago. I don’t know which shop did the work as it was purchased this way. Never installed after recovering. Leather is very soft and supple. No slider. Priced to sell at 3400.00 + shipping. PayPal as friends/fam, Personal check or M.O. only.

First off, I can’t believe this hasn’t sold......yet. Secondly, I sold both my ‘68’s and don’t have a use for it. I do have another ‘68 Sport Seat avail w/slider, in corduroy. Listed separately.

Others will know better and I may be mistaken, but I believe Recaro only made driver’s side in 1968.

Hey That is my old sport seat I sold in 2016: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ly-Sports-Seat

I bought it from a guy who was working at Ed Mayo's shop down in Texas, he was the one who had the recover done. Very nice seat.

Mike, yes you are right! Any idea who the guy was that recovered it?

Cruisingkali: I was always under the impression that the 68 sport seats hardware could be “switched” to make a pass seat.

I have two '68 sport seats in my car. No need to do any switching of hardware. Just have to remember the release knob and slide knob on the same side of both....
That is the way it is. Probably devalue if you change.

Yes driver sport seat for 68 that goes on both sides. The only difference between right and left is the tilt bracket lever.... seats are ambidextrous.
