Back again with some more Heuers! These are the result of the last few weeks work, exclusively on Monte Carlo's. Ill do it a little differently this time, as there are 5 timers to describe here; Ill post a Google Drive album for each with detailed photos, and 2 header photos for each with a description here. Keeps it a little tidier!
There are two twin sets and one single timer.
Timers 1 & 2.
Ill start with a lovely twin set of later Monte Carlo's, made between 1967 and 1975. Both timers are in great condition with only minor marks to the chrome cases. One has a extra inscription on the side which denotes it as a military issue timer, very very rare to see a chrome Monte Carlo bearing military markings! The other timer still has its original Heuer service sticker present on the case closing plate. Both dials are in perfect condition, as are the bezels, crystals, crowns and pushers. The hands have been restored. The movements function as new, having been fully stripped, ultrasonically cleaned, serviced and rebuilt/regulated to 18000 BPH on my timegrapher. They are mounted on one of my own reproduction twin mounting plates; I do a limited run of these plates every year, they are identical in dimension to the originals and are produced in the same manner - heavy chrome plating on brass. The mounting plate is of course, in mint condition. Will be supplied with full mounting hardware.

Timers 3 & 4 - SOLD
Next is a twin set of early Monte Carlo's, made between 1962 and 1967. Again, both timers are in excellent condition with only minor marks to the chrome cases and one larger mark which is pictured on the base of the left timer. One again has a extra inscription on the side which denotes it as a military issue timer, but this one is done in a rather cruder manner! This inscription is shown in the Google album, but is hidden completely when the timer is mounted. Both dials are in perfect condition, as are the bezels, crystals, crowns and pushers. The hands have age marks and a little paint/lume loss. The movements function as new, having been fully stripped, ultrasonically cleaned, serviced and rebuilt/regulated to 18000 BPH on my timegrapher. They are mounted on one of my own reproduction twin mounting plates; I do a limited run of these plates every year, they are identical in dimension to the originals and are produced in the same manner - heavy chrome plating on brass. The mounting plate is of course, in mint condition. Will be supplied with full mounting hardware.

Timer 5 - SOLD
The final Monte for sale here has certainly seen its fair share of action! I think it has excellent patina and would look amazing in the right interior. The chrome case has noticable marks all over from a heavy life of usage and the dial has what the wrist watch world refer to as "tropical" patina - meaning it has been used in high humidity. I've never seen this on a Monte Carlo dial before and its certainly a look that only time and the right conditions can create! The hands have similar wear. The watch mounting plate is original, but the case closing plate has been replaced at some point with one that reads "Sears, Roebuck & Co" rather than the usual "Heuer Leonidas SA". Rest assured though that this is the only non-original part. The bezel is a military one with the knurled edges removed. The usual service work has been carried out - the movement functions as new, having been fully stripped, ultrasonically cleaned, serviced and rebuilt/regulated to 18000 BPH on my timegrapher. Full mounting hardware included.
