Thread: so who bought a motorcycle later in life?

  1. #41
Just bought a 2010 Ducati Monster 696. Last few months' shelter in place left me depressed so I decided to buy a bike.

Yes Ron, it was a good day.
Only times I feel vintage is when I need to accelerate, or brake - or when I look in a mirror.
Your [older bike] would have fit in nicely.

I've been riding since I was a kid and I'll always have a bike or two. I haven't been riding on the street lately but I have been doing quite a few trackdays which is by far more rewarding.

Presently I have a 2000 Ducati 996 for the track and a 2001 Ducati S4 Monster that I've owned since new.
