Hi All:

As we continue to shelter-in-place here in Los Angeles, I think it is high-time to replace my front hood cable that suffered a break long before my acquisition and no longer has the threaded end that inserts into the black t-handle.

With that said, I have run a few searches on here but have not come up with anything definitive on the replacement job. As I understand it, the cable fits inside a tube and is able to be removed simply by unhooking the end from the latch and feeding the old cable out. From there the new cable feeds back into the tube and hooks into the latch.

Is this correct? Are there any other tips/tricks to the job that would save me cuts, curses and/or general frustration?

Thanks in advance!
