    concerning the manufacturer:
    the swt had been a US delivery and the owner had it custom
    made for himself, as i had guessed,
    he had some british sports cars, which came equipped with
    these types of tonneaus.

    I would check with the british sports cars scene...
    also with the manufacturers of cab roofs.

    I agree --- those TENAX fasteners are what my old 356 had . . .

    . . . plus those flaps --- the way they wrap around the A-pillars . . . and the material + stitching


    Got the Kardex? Might be an option listed

    I don't know... all the tonneau covers of convertibles I've owned (British & German) placed the fasteners as close under the windshield as possible, high on the dash pad.

    This is an amazing piece that sure looks factory, but leaving the speaker grill exposed seems odd in view of the otherwise superb design.
