    265 was 911 and turbo heat range which is = to the new 3. Porsche worried about sustained high speed so colder plugs were installed. I run W4CS in my 9.1 RS engine. Which is close to the 250. Can’t get the W4CS anymore. I used the XR2CS in my 11.1 race motor, NLA. I loved old Bosch plugs. Buy them and put them under your pillow if not in an engine.

    145=8
    175=7
    200=6?
    215=5?
    250=4
    265=3
    310=2
    I couldn’t find a conversion for old and new Bosch numbers. Old numbers high= cold. We run hotter plugs than in the old days. Where’s Mayo.

    So looks like the W250 plugs being offered would be good for the 2.5 x 9.5/1
    Thinking of buying a set.
