    Koni decal, what years

For rear shocks, Does anyone know when the winged decal was used on Koni?
And does someone know when the triangle showed up?

(More for me, specifically, what was on a 71?)

Well, I'm of the opinion that the original Konis put on at the factory didn't have the decals though the aftermarket Konis during the same time period did.

I've got a pair of 80K-2088 rears, 7/73 dates with the winged logo decals. They came off my 70S but, no Porsche markings.

I also have two other pairs of rears that are clearly factory parts. Both pairs are stamped with Porsche part numbers, VP logos and "Made by Koni". Neither pair have decals. One pair with 10/69 date codes (with the same white stenciled 911 and B as seen on the 700 Mile 70S and Cornpanzer's build), PN: 901.333.051.14. The other pair have 24/73 date codes and no stencils, PN: 911.333.051.11.

Both logos existed before the Porsche 911 series.
I think, as Michael and Chuck have indicated, that such stickers and decals were usually not applied to Porsche-installed KONIs.

I have 3/73 date stamped original Konis on my S with the VP triangle and they have no decals.

Front left just started leaking oil, so inserts will be forthcoming. Seals probably failed after 47 years now that i can enthisiastically driver her.
