    Looks great!
btw. Here in Europe Glasurit do offer slate grey as single stage (22-line), mine was just done using it. But modern "incredients" makes it too dark vs original so guys from Glasurit + factory approved paintshop I used mixed formula to match exactly 66' factory color (which was underneath door panel, and thus no UV light over 50+ years)

    Russ,

You have quite the tough decision when you walk into your garage. I'm envious.

Wish the garage was closer, but we keep two or three in rotation at home Scott, that way they all get used with some frequency. Stuff breaks when they aren't driven.

Since there wasn't a process thread, here's photos post-paint and pre-assembly... will show some of the ugly bits later. There was more than expected.

Engine is in, suspension and brakes as well. Installed a dual circuit master, why on earth these cars originally used a single circuit system is baffling.

Love all the new (or restored) hardware, restored suspension pieces up against the dark body.
    Just looks great.

Getting closer... alignment done, ride height set, most of the interior done.

Seeing the car without any emblems or badges I had a thought: fill all the holes and go smooth. The shape says it all, it doesn't need identifiers.

Waiting for freshly chromed seat hinges and a correct antenna, then the radio goes in.

Absolutely brilliant, truly a dream car. Love the early Fuchs wheels against the dark body color.
