    Lower dash trim 67-68 911S

    I'm restoring a 68S and all the interior alu trim is present, but some PO got really angry with the glove box and damaged the trim below it. (photo)

    I've since had it straightened, but there's some scarring from the original attack. This is a pretty basic piece of metal, and I'm wondering if there's a repro or a used piece floating around out there. It is the longest piece in the car...

    We were planning to make a repro of these but would need a commitment from enough members on the forum before we invested in the tooling costs. Let me know your thoughts.

    i've looked into extruded and anodized alu part production in the past, and it seems the commitment would be extremely large for a relatively small number of vehicles (67 S; 68 S and L).

    Might be best to start with a readily available production piece and refinish it.
