    71S Oil Pressure gauge pinned

Hi all, my 71T motor was rebuilt with S Ps and Cs with solex cams and carerra oil pump. My oil pressure gauge is now pinned at 140 anything above 2k RPM and idles at 100. Any idea why this is and what I can do part it? I assume Carrera oil pump is moving more volume and creating extra pressure. Palo Alto speedometer said my Ohms are now mismatched.

Engine rebuilder used the wrong sender, one that does not match your gauge.

Cool, I will remove and replace this new part as it’s only $25.

Be sure it is a 10 bar sender, usually 10x1.0 thread.

Gauges are confusing by being installed at such odd angles. If you enjoy a pseudo racing look, have at it. For me who drives several different cars. it would take some time every time I looked at your instrument panel to sort out what's normal and what's not normal.

I love my Prototipo wheel (OE wheel on the shelf) and have to twist my gauges to see them. Nothing pseudo about that. Redline is redline no matter the angle.

Üro 10 bar oil pressure sender to the rescue!

Don’t forget your 17mm crow wrench.
