    Bumper Horn Pad

    Can these be saved once you lose one of the attaching threaded studs, top one broke off during removal. Other than the broken stud pad is in excellent original condition. I know the repro ones are sh*t.

    If it were mine, I think I'd give it a shot, Mike. I'd probably try drilling a smaller hole in the broken stud and either thread the new hole or use a very small self-tapping screw. That and a touch of weather-strip adhesive would probably do the trick.

    Looks like it is for the front, not the rear?

    I saved a similar situation, but with a longer remaining stud, by using a makeshift shield around the stud and end-welding a threaded rod to the stub. Worth a shot.

    Actually for the rear Arne, 3 studs versus 2 studs on the front ones.
