FS: Sport Purpose / Competition Parts List Manuals

Two original competition / sport purpose type manuals with original burgundy covers. One is dated 11.68 and the second one is dated April, 1970. $500 each or $750 for both. Please email me for additional photos.E25C1C7E-9F46-4ED0-8DEB-5353FBF20F49.jpg6576DD01-C1F4-47A0-BD33-7680FD142C30.jpg

Received some questions regarding the size of the paper and “color/type”. The one dated april.70 definitely has a slight blue tint to it. The 11.68 manual doesn’t but the paper does look aged. Both manuals measure just under 11 3/4 inches by just over 8 1/4 inches. Hope that helps.

I think the blue paper was used for some early documents... I have some service bulletins on blue paper...

Now that I know more about the “blue paper”, I’m starting to think the 11.68 manual is probably a later reproduction.

How about $199 for the 68 manual.

My copy of that spare parts list is on blue paper probably standard A4 297 x210 mm — it is original — that provenance supported by fact it came with a rare professionally printed booklet explaining Porsche services to “sporting” customers and an introduction for the newly founded cup.

    The measurements I posted translate to A4 paper, 297mm X 210mm.

I only have the April 70 one not the 11.68 .. it is blue paper throughout Like in other post photo including blue front page but otherwise same front page content as pictured iirc. Otherwise has a single vintage brass split pin holding pages. It is not in a maroon binder. I suspect the first page of one pictured is sun faded vs original blue paper of interior on second post.

Additional photos of the 11.68 manual. Binding with two clasps. Both manuals have the two clasps.

Both covers are two tone, front is burgundy and the back is red in color. The fold down metal clasps are coated with rubber.

The 11.68 manual is now sold.

The april 70 manual is still available. It’s an original factory manual in very nice condition including the vinyl cover.

    Thanks
