Thread: Seeing Red.. or maybe it should be amber

    I think it is the differentiation between the red of the brake light and the amber of the turn signal. When I moved to the Americas from Europe 15 or so years again, I couldn't believe how I had to really watch cars ahead to determine if their turn lights were working at all. Even now, I still wonder why amber isn't the norm... given the studies Eric cites, and personal experience, it seems the safer route and my new 2020 VW has red turn signal lights which I need to change to amber...

    Judging by the myriad of repro Bosch headlight lenses with Bosch script Im not so sure Bosch is protective of their former products. No point in making repro signals or lenses without correct script, those lenses are already available. There never were swb genuine signal lenses, only complete units. Ive sold more than a few original swb Euro signals, they are pricey for a reason and margins are slim. I shipped this pair yesterday.
