Looking for a Manual, wire diagram, schematic for a 1969 Blaupunkt US model Z

I don't think so. My understanding is that model 7639670 spanned 1969 to I think 1973. I believe my documents are 1969. The specific build date is reflected in the letter prefix and serial number.

I don’t have an axe to grind and certainly not an expert on USA radio models but surprised you say 69 -73. Wasn’t there a unit around 1971 7631627 and another in 72 7632627 for USA? Think they might’ve looked similar but think there was a model change or two before 73,unless I’m mistaken?

I agree the unit type you refer to 7639670 was introduced in 1969 as signified by the 9 on fourth digit of 7639. (The serie Z 7638650 of original post being introduced 1968 and continuing production into 1969) . However my impression ( but don’t know for sure) is the timing of the introduction 7639670 would’ve been late to hit Porsche model year to be factory fittment. However if your factory papers and radio serial all say radio was made 69 and Factory fitted to model year 69 car then I certainly won’t argue with that proof! Always open to being corrected. Especially as I don’t own a 69 USA 911 with factory fitted radio. Just got drawn in by sharing snippets from my Blaupunkt references to try to help the original and then subsequent questions.

To be clear was your 7639670 unit with those papers a factory fit in your model year 1969 car? Or was the radio fitment to car whrn it arrived in USA by importer , dealer or another? Reason I ask is the timing of radio to car might be different due to shipping lead times to USA.

We know typical Porche year change but Blaupunkt less clear which ( along with many pragmatic other supply chain inventory etc factors) might in part explain if different Frankfurt US “releases “ went into a model 69

This radio has nothing to do with my '69 911T; sorry, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. I've been told by a Blaupunkt expert that 7632627 was a very long-lived model, because it was the most basic AM-FM installed in many USA cars. Based on the serial number, my 7632627 likely dates from late 1970. I do have an extensive set of Blaupunkt US 7632627 booklets and paperwork dated 1969 with a much early serial number. That said, you are certainly right that many/most/all '69 radios might have been installed in '70 MY cars.
