    911 E in any race ?

    Greetings all,

As far as your knowledge, has any 911E been engaged into an official race back in the days ? More precisely 1972/73 ?
    (please)
    Cheers
    X

Xavier the easy answer is yes I know i have records but it will take some time to find them. Do events like Monte Carlo and other rallies count?

no E's at Le Mans in those years I am afraid
there was on at the monte in 1972 #294, and another in 73 #130

I don't think there would have been any E's at any major circuit races - too many ST's and S's around to be competitive

I seem to remember a 72E that was built into ST trim.
It was not a factory build but ran some events. It's a vague memory but I thought it was for sale at some point? Sound familiar to anyone?
