This deal I made over 25 years ago. Guess I should just give them away right Allen?
No, I'm all for capitalism. It only takes a willing buyer and willing seller. GLWS ! Really, IF you sell them, please let us know if you get anywhere near $8,000 ! Thanks.

Rookie question: What distinguishes them as repros? Grain/ texture of the cover material? My interior shop indicated that but also suggested to re-skin them. I am looking for a set to upgrade my interior. Clearly not willing to pay $8k for a NOS set. But the second eBay link posted looks good, and if OEM, I might pay $2,730 for the complete set.

I just got my originals back from Autobahn and they are easily the nicest thing in my car, and well-below the cost of Porsche replicas. The grain isn't exact, but close enough.

'. . . reproduction door pockets are made of high quality hand laid fiberglass and are covered on the inside with black flocking as the original parts are, they are trimmed in original german vinyl, and have the metal insert installed on top of the edge of the front pocket, and the corner metal trim piece, they come with plastic hinges that are indistinguishable from the original. These units will not warp like the original cardboard pockets . . .'

I have yet to see a set of repro door pockets that I would install in any of my cars. The Porsche Classic pockets look good but need some massaging to fit sometimes (the downside to some is they're expensive). Tony is obviously an artist and, while the grain isn't an exact match, they're probably good enough for most people (who don't suffer from the extreme-detail virus).
