Ravi, the $240k price of the S accounts for the $8k door pockets right. Add up the individual parts and $240k is a bargain. Okay, at least that's what I tell my wife.

It's exactly what I tell my wife too. Of course she has horses, and those are an even bigger money sinks than our cars, so I always get the moral high ground!

I tried to buy those same parts around 10-15 years ago. He wanted more than double the going NOS rate back then and in typical fashion became abusive when I offered the going rate. There’s a reason why he hasn’t sold these in the last 20 years (or more?) of owning them.

I see he’s been banned again. Cuts down on the caustic PMs.

I wonder why he has been banned. If it is for pricing that is soo cute...
Mods can then throw out quite a few leeches that contribute nothing and peddle wares they bought on german ebay, for 5-10 times the initial price...

I tried working with this guy from Sheridan Wyoming, many years ago and it was impossible. To say he has "issues," well frankly that is an significant understatement. Here's an honest question: has anyone been able to successfully buy ANYTHING, a Porsche or parts, from him? Thanks.

Nope. In my quest for an early car, I opened up a line of communication with him and even got so far as to cash in some frequent flyer points on Northwest to fly out to see the car and hopefully drive it back. Car was on eBay. He was polite up to that point. But when I very politely asked some more probing questions based on input from a friend with a lot of early 911 experience, he became abusive and then raised the price 20 grand (doubled!!). This was 13 years ago.

I offered full asking price for his Fuchs plus shipping. I never heard back.

Last year I made arrangements to meet him at the LA Lit swap meet to buy some parts from him. When I got there, the price doubled. I asked him if he was kidding and he said no. I gave him a blank stare and his response was you’re not obligated to buy. The whole experience was super weird.

On this occasion? Has nothing to do with his pricing if I were to speculate. There is a reason why he's been banned from this board under at least two user names, banned from Pelican under several user names, banned from Samba.

    Law of the common denominator.

Do we have any psychologists or other observers of human behavior who can diagnose his "issues?" Sadly, honestly, the gentleman from Sheridan Wyoming is not well. Thanks.
