FS: Boyd Coddington Wheels Custom Alloy Wheels - NEW

    ***SOLD***

NEW set of (x4) Boyd Coddington rims - essentially Lemmerz-style, stock, chrome SWB 4.5” rims rendered as a forged-aluminum alloys.

My goal with these was to preserves the original stock aesthetic wheel and tire dimensions + early SWB road feel & driving dynamics, but with the strength and performance benefits of light-weight alloys.

Commissioned for a drive from California to Alaska (912 Registry Magazine, Volume 21, Issue 2, Cover-Story). Alas, they were not completed in time for my trip, and they have been in storage ever since. Never installed on a car, never had tires mounted on them. They are NEW.

Paid $5K to have them made, but with my daughter going to boarding school next month, I’d rather put some money back in the bank and see these beauties go to someone else’s car.

Highly Polished Aluminum Finish + Clear Ceramic Coated + Designed to Accept Stoddard Reissue Hubcaps.

I am not active on the Early 911S Registry, but I am no stranger to the early Porsche community — I was President of the 912 Registry from 2013-2017. Thank you for the consideration - please let me know if I can answer any questions.

$3.5K OBO + Shipping Cost ~or~ FREE delivery to anywhere in the Los Angeles area.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the interest.

RichardK is correct -- the width is 4.5". (I have run wider rims on my 912, but to me the immediate feel and quick dynamics of 4.5"s more than make up for what they give up in traction, hence why I had these made in this size.)

To answer Cruisingnkali's question, I measure the backspace at 9cm.

Let me know if I can answer anything additional!
