WTB: Pair of sun visors for a 1968 car

    Hi All,
I've been told the 1968 sun visors are different to other years.

Does anyone know of some for sale or a supplier source?

    Thanks, Richard

AFAIK (at least regarding '67 & '68) they have fixed pivots and came either solid black, solid white (grey?) or two-tone. Not sure if that's a Normal, T, or S thing, someone correct me please.

If you're lucky you might find decent originals, but all the usual suspects offer good though pricey reproductions.

67 sunvisors have "fixed pivots" and are black on the top and white (or what ever light color you want to call them) on the bottom. When they are in the retracted position(near the white headliner) they appear to match the headliner. 68 sunvisors pivot like later ones but have a unique shape due to their rear view mirror. Bottom line.........67 visors are "one year only" and 68 visors are also "one year only". I have posted pictures of all the different sunvisors and they can be found in the "search" function.

I have I think a nice set for a coupe? One of the plastic mounts is broken and the mirror doesn’t seat properly. 125€ + additional costs

Those are 68 visors. Very friendly price, too. The beige plastic parts are NLA but can be substituted with later model black ones. A spray can of paint will make them look like the originals.

The black on Both sides are for Targa’s I believe and are non-pivoting.

One more thought on 68 visors. From what I've learned here, very early 68 cars had 67 visors (non pivoting).

Don't think so. Point out an example and make me a believer.
