    Red Purolator Oil Filters

    Who makes the most accurate early 911 LWB oil filters 901.107.203.09 for a 71 911.I have seen a few vendors with them.I bought some from Carl Bauer.They were very good,but I don't think he does them any more.Anybody know?Chime in.

    David, I get mine sent to NZ from these guys. I have a 72 not a 71 and have never had an issue with them.

    I have 4 or 6 original NOS ones I found today. I'll check the part numbers to verify they are correct.

    Carl no longer has the Mahles repainted like the original Purolators .

    No part store in town had stock for this dimension, it cost me 6€ more at the dealership but I get a nice red one...

    It’s too bad that Carl isn’t making them anymore. I bought several from him years ago and am now on my last one. I’ve heard the Porsche a Classic version isn’t reliable (splits open, leaks etc).

    Thanks for all the responses everyone.I bought 2 from Stoddard and after comparing the O.E. Porsche to Carl's.I sent them back.I do have 2 of Carls left.I haven't heard of the O.E. being unreliable,but thats not good.Can anyone chime in on that.Maybe we can get Carl to produce some more?
