FS: ST Classic Front Rock Guard / Skid Plate v2.0

I'm offering this brand new ST Classic front rock guard/skid pan v2.0 that I have elected not to use. I was interested in replacing a "home made" skid plate that has been on my 73S for as long as I've owned the car and thought the ST Classic skid plate would be a wonderful and lightweight upgrade. Well...it would be but I discovered 1) it only covers the fuel tank and mine also covers the steering rack so I'd need to source the other guard, and 2) this item requires drilling holes in the trunk to mount it. My other skid plate also requires holes be drilled but they don't match up and since I just repainted my car I simply can't see drilling 2 or 4 new holes.

This skid plate is a beautifully made item, it's very high quality and if I were building a new hot-rod or if I had it prior to my new paint it would be a no-brainer to install. My 73S is a Euro car so it has the low hanging 85L plastic tank. My current skid plate has the battle scars to show how many times it has saved my tank from taking a beating. If you have an even slightly lowered car (we all do) and a plastic tank you want this. If it doesn't sell its off to storage and installation someday on my ST. Here is is on John's web site: http://www.st-classic.com/skid-pans.php

I paid $240 for it and I'll let it go for $200 net to me (you pay shipping and PP fees). I really wish I could use it.
