Anybody have any idea? Biggest thing is the material as I can whip these up on the lathe easily. The whole assembly is ready to go back in the car. Tia JK

When we restored my son's '65 we ended up making our own. I have no idea if they are of authentic size or material. I used a hole saw (1"??) and cut two pieces from a dense rubber mat and then sized them to fit. The material was 1/2" thick Buna-N rubber; D4993 product # 1XZA4; Durometer 70A from Granger.

I have some left over I can mail you and you can fab your own if you like.

    hi Joris

thats what i used to rebuild it--thr rubber only of course...it came in a bilstein bag so no china crap i assume... can`t remember if it was 100% spot on(doubt) and if i had to trim it on the lathe:

Franz and Glenn, thanks for the pointers. I made some on the lathe from an old shock bushing I had. Now I can finally wrap up the front suspension, thanks a lot!
