    RHD glovebox badge position

Should the the glovebox badge on my '69 be on the left or the right of the door? I have seen so many pictures of RHD cars with some on the left and some on the right there is no consistancy. Maybe it varied by year or maybe it varied from the factory?

The early lids(circa 65/66) had two holes on the inside of the lid to fix the speed nuts, on the RHS.
This was the same for Rhd/lhd
