    WTB: damaged smugglers box lid - 68 911

    Hello,
    I could use a patch panel for my 68 911 smugglers box lid. Water sat in the corner and it is rusted through. I have been attempting to form a piece to fit but it is extremely difficult as it is on the bended area. If I could find a damaged lid or someone willing to sell a portion of one that would be greatly appreciated.

    i just looked at the one i replaced and unfortunately by the time you sandblasted the rust off there would likely not be any thing usable. kind of depends on what exact area you need

    Yeah, i could have fixed with some JB weld but wanted to do it correctly, now I have one that needs a patch. IT was too thin to weld to plus it is super tricky to make the patch.
    I need the corner by the left hinge on the deeper side. about 2" by 6" strip.

    I know you would have more responses if the add read smugglers box cover , '68 to '74 .
