Thread: Fog/Driving light question.

    Fog/Driving light question.

    67 911

Do the fog lights work independently of any other electrical system in the vehicle? Or does it require the ignition switch to be on, or head/parking lights to be on to operate?

On my 66 (912) factory wiring you need to have parking lights or low beams on to power the trigger in the relay for the fogs, Ignition switch is out of play. 67 should be the same.

My 1967 912 works the same way. Parking or low beams on for fog lights to work. The fogs will turn off when the high beams are activated. Fogs are back on with low beams.
