Thread: Original 1971 911T Porsche script

  1. #1

    Original 1971 911T Porsche script

New price: $75. I was told the deck lid was from a '71, but as noted in a follow-up post in the backs look black, so maybe '72 or '73. The pics are representative of the color/fading. Very good condition overall. All studs are in place and all nuts included. Some slight nics which should be aparant in the pics.
$75 shipped within the CONUS. (In the full pic with all the script it only shows one nut next to the "911T", but both nuts are included).

    Hi Bill,
Those appear to be black from the reverse pics so are more likely to be later than 1971. More like 72/73.

    Thanks Gitesh.
I’ll double check the backs and see if it matches the dark color in the pics. I was trying to show the pins are all intact and didn’t consider the color difference.
I was told the deck lid was ‘71 and the grill was definitely silver.
    Regards,
    Bill

The color difference is because of fading of the anodizing. All of the 72/73 letters do that.
