Original ST.RSR Heinzmann fire bottles x 2

Continuing to clear out my rare and hard to find parts. My latest offering is these very rare Heinzmann fire bottles that were fitted in period to 2.5 ST and the later RSR race cars. These bottles were removed from cars many moons ago and they are battle scarred.

I was tempted to re-paint these, but i quite like them as they are. There was a small remnant of the stickers remaining on both bottle which upon removal has preserved the original Paint colour should the buyers with to paint match the colour.

Unfortunately these systems are incomplete with the feet, bottle straps ,aluminium cover and the pull handle missing. Most of these items are readily available from the reproduction units that have been produced. A virtually identical handle is readily available on the web and was used in the Citroen traction avant.

Pricing..... I have had 2 virtually complete systems that i sold around 8 years ago that fetched £4.000 each.
The only other bottle that has been offered for sale with the pull handle was sold on this board around 6 years ago by Karim for around. £2k.

I am offering each bottle at £1,500 UK pound + shipping. The shipping will be around £130 from the UK with a specialist shipping agent.

So there we are, 2 ultra rare original bottles not be confused with every reproduction that has the wrong valve.

The Perfect compliment to any original 2.5 ST or RSR race car, or for the very finest replica build.
