    Steering question

    I'm missing this little (o-ring, washer) part. In fact the 3 cars I'm working on, all are missing this part. They steer fine without it, but I still would like to replace them. I have SWB and LWB parts book but neither offer a part number. If it's NLA has anyone come up with a substitute?

    I have the other 2 parts. $315 for the ring might be a tad more than I'm willing to spend.

    With your skills you could easily make these rings, given you have the other cast rubber components.

    Here is an idea! Of course, you don’t need a full roll of this stuff. Might seek out a local plumbing supplier/repair man and buy a piece from them.
