FS: NOS Boge steering damper 911/912 1965-1969

    Hello,

Short note about me as I joined this forum just recently and this is also my first post here: I have about 25 years history with another German brand and have mainly different Opels from 60's and 70's (couple of other cars too, but mainly my hobbies are concentrated to Opel). Please, feel also free to take a look on my Ebay feedback (same username).

    Anyway, to the business:

Few weeks ago I bought a genuine NOS Boge steering damper from Germany for my Opel, but after receiving it, it was too short in length and also some other difference were noticed. The damper had stamped numbers on it and I made some googling which showed up some result towards 60's Porsche models. I also asked confirmation for this from an Finnish Porsche guy in Facebook and he confirmed that this damper fits to 911/912 (1965-1969). The number in damper: 90134750100.

According to answer below, fits up to chassis number 305100

Complete length of the damper when pushed completely in-position (shortest position): 34 cm (approx. 13,4 inch)

    Link to the pictures:

Click the pictures to see them bigger. Pictures were taken from the damper I have and I have only one damper for sale.

Asking price 280 (was: 420 -> 400 -> 380 -> 350 -> 310) Euro + shipping costs (note: shipping in minimum with tracking code, insured would be recommended)
Part is located in Finland and you're also of course welcome to come pick it up from me personally. I can also get it delivered without extra costs to your door step in a quite large area in southern Finland.

Payment: in cash (pick-up or personal delivery), bank transfer (recommended only in EU-zone) or Paypal (sorry, only as Friends-payment at the moment)

I'm also open to offers. And if you happen to have some NOS or like new used parts for following cars, I might also trade: Opel Rekord C Sprint, Rekord C 5D Caravan, Opel Commodore A, Opel Kapitän/Admiral/Diplomat A

    Hello Franz,

Thank you for the offer. That's very nice item and rare in this condition. I have seen quite a few those, but I think none so good looking...

Unfortunately that's nearly 10 years newer era of production than any of my old Opels. Hence it was not used on them, they had regular full size spare wheel, not the space saver -wheel where this bottle belongs. So, sorry, no need for it.

Diplomat A Coupe is rare car... Kadett C GT/E is nice too, do you have the optional 5-speed ZF gearbox too?

    - Saku
