    Seat Hinge Plastic Cover

I give up -- how do I get this plastic cover installed. Driver seat is easy, but getting seat latch lever on passenger side seat into the slot is like a rubix cube that I can't solve without risking cracking the plastic.

Related topic, why the does passenger side have latch mechanism to manually control tilting of the seat back where driver seat has no such locking mechanism?

    Thanks

Got it installed, the nub on the back side of the pin is the issue, it's wider than the slot in the cover (see photo) I used a thin blade putty knife placed under the nub to open up the slot and guide it through
