    Zuffengruppe 3 - Pleasant Prairie, WI (September 13, 2020)

Let's hope it stays dry on Sunday. Looking forward to this annual gathering and seeing some very special cars. Last year I missed the earliest 911 in the US #300005 and the Stan Townes Speedster.

    Zuffengruppe 3
Registration is OPEN for Zuffengruppe 3 to be held Sunday, September 13, 2020, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The event has pivoted from August in Lake Forest to September in SE Wisconsin at a private location in order to provide a unique, spacious and controlled environment for 2020.

The Zuffengruppe 3 is the Midwest’s original air-cooled Porsche gathering. Zuffengruppe 3 will feature only air-cooled Porsches — 356s, 911s, 912s and 914s. This is a curated lifestyle event that will feature pre-registered Porsches and hand-picked Porsche lifestyle vendors.

Our new 2020 location is on private property between Milwaukee and the Illinois border. We will arrange in a Pebble Beach style display field around a private lake with majestic vistas. 356s will be the feature on display. Most importantly the location provides maximum social distancing and no access for the public in order to limit the number in attendance. Zuffen 3 will be exclusively for entrants and their passengers only.

So mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13, from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

We’re sorry, but spectators will not be allowed this year unless they arrive as a pre-paid guest of a paid Entrant.

As always, solicitation or promoting of the sale of your car, business or services is strictly prohibited.

Weather was perfect as well as venue. The video from the event was just released last week which includes an interview with ESR member sbartmess about his 356. Having been "locked-up" at home for several months, it was nice to enjoy the company of others who share the same passion for these air-coooled cars. I only wish we had more time to meet others and learn about the vehicles they brought to the event.

Nice video, especially the 356 with the trailer hitch.
