    Gauge restoration choices in Europe?

Any recent thoughts/experiences on quality of work/turnaround for gauge restoration? Looking for an alternative to Palo Alto and North Hollywood here in Europe - since sending them out to US will result in high taxes/ fees, high shipping cost and slow shipping.

Have you thought about checking with the guys at Car-Bone? I know they’re doing restorations now so they might have some options on gauges.

If cosmetic only, Reap Automotive here in the UK do some great work.
If mechanical, I would recommend Hans Peters in Netherlands.
I have used both and they are very good but they also tend to be very busy so there can be a long wait.

I need to have a complete restoration (both functional and cosmetic)

I saw that Car-Bone restore gauges, but I have not found any feedback here on the forum about the level of their repairs. Anyone here who has tried them?

    Nick,

show us what you have...the old casings moderate treated is nice, also to keep the stampings...
sandblasting or painting is in my eyes too much too much.
the technical functionality and what you then see in the cockpit is more important

    Haul,
I also like to have some patina - it gives character.
Sadly I cant post any pics. After a small mishap in spring, my car is getting a total new repaint. I hope she comes back soon.

The guys at Differs in NL did mine as part of full restoration... Changed T gauges to RSR, but imagine they could restore to original as well...
