    73 rs-t

    Hello,

Does anyone recall which particular 1973 RS had these particular California license plates? Based on the DMV stickers, it was last registered in 1986. I’m hoping some old timer here can shed some light. I checked with DMV but they have no records dating back to the 80’s. I would love to reunite these license plates with the original car. I zoomed in on the tamper proof stickers and they both have the word “OFFICIAL” in light print. It is more visible under the letter “U” in “JUN”. I feel confident these are original issued DMV plates and not reproduction. Based on the condition, they were hardly used.

    I know it’s a long shot but it doesn’t hurt to ask.Name: 94E39225-7C70-4434-9510-EBB56AA0B66A.jpg

lol, no secrecy. One of the photos didn’t load/post. I did post the complete numbers/letters (73 RS-T).

I’ll try reposting the photo again.

Dave, I was thinking the same...
New Roger car pics show a 'new' white CA plate...
I'm looking through my old Roger pics to check...
It's tough because most all are front shots... and we try to get away with no front plate

    I'll keep look'n..

    Cheers,
    Chuck

Just looked through my photo alblum and have Roger car pics from 1999, but no rear pics of the car... I'm now thinkn'n the white plate was always the Roger plate...

    Cheers,

Roger showed his 73 at the 1985 Porsche Parade in Costa Mesa, Ca. His car had a German license plate " 73 RS-T" on it. I'm thinking the blue ca. plate is from Roger's car...
